Transport services

The Infants' Home's free daily transport service is for families whose children attend one of our early education and care centres.

This transport is specifically for children who have additional needs, require targeted support, and who have no access to transport.

Our bus service is a vital part of the early intervention provided by The Infants' Home.

Why transport is important

The Infants' Home recognises that the early childhood education and care experience includes the journey between home and the care environment. 

Research indicates that transitions from one activity to another should be predictable, safe, and welcoming to optimise the experience for the child.

Well-managed transitions generate a sense of security and trust for the child and their family.
