About the centre

To continue to meet the evolving needs of our community we are building a new Early Learning and Care Centre on our spacious grounds at Ashfield.

An integrated hub

The new centre will be an integrated, state-of-the-art hub of excellence that offers – under one roof – all the services we know to be important in early childhood development.

Today, our teams wrap around a child and provide seamless care to more than 1300 children and families, and our early intervention programs reach more than 400 families each year.

It is our goal to extend these programs through our new centre so we can help more families build more positive futures.

The purpose-built Early Learning and Care Centre will be a place:

The next century of care and education

The centre will comprise many support services for vulnerable children and their families, or for those with special or complex needs. It will include:

Our new hub of integrated early childhood services will make it more cost-effective to deliver specialist programs and ensure that each child receives the care and attention they need to flourish.

This new centre will have the potential to train new educators from universities and colleges around the country; and house a facility for research and education, complete with viewing areas and training spaces.
