The Infants’ Home Child & Family Services is a dynamic community-based organisation, with a long tradition and strong sense of contemporary pathways focussing on best practice and research initiatives. This is an exciting career opportunity in a unique multipurpose child & family hub which integrates early childhood service, health, education, welfare & early intervention services on one site supporting families with disadvantage & complex needs in a coordinated manner in the context of universal services.

We provide the integrated early childhood services through 5 LDC services, a FDC scheme in an inclusion ethos wherein 20% of our families are experiencing a range of vulnerabilities. We provide high staff ratios; strengths based practices, professional development and involvement with community networks. Staff are highly resourced and supported.

You will be responsible with the ongoing day to day operation of the program, including child protection, family support and early intervention. You will have the opportunity to work in an establish organisation providing integrated services.

You will have a proven ability to develop innovative evidenced based practice, manage people and lead change.

Essential
• University Degree in Early Childhood
• Ability to lead a multi-faceted staff team
• Experience in management of contemporary educational programs
• Understanding of children’s rights in practice
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Sound written, verbal and organisational skills
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion principles
